Overall, customers express high satisfaction with their experiences at FLOOF, praising the quality of grooming and the attentiveness of the staff. Many reviewers appreciate the individualized care each dog receives, as well as the friendly and compassionate approach of the groomers, which helps to alleviate anxiety in pets. While there was a negative experience regarding a botched grooming job, the swift response from FLOOF to rectify the situation led to an overall positive update from that reviewer. Many customers highlight the seamless scheduling, thoughtful touches like complimentary items, and the happy and well-groomed pets they bring home, contributing to a strong recommendation for the grooming services offered.
We had a great experience with Winter at floof! They were very thorough in understanding how I like my dogs grooming done and it came out perfect! I love that they groom one dog at a time so it doesn’t take up your whole day and your dog isn’t left unattended during their visit. The staff was super friendly and my dog left a happy boy, the complimentary poop bags were a nice touch. Thank you Winter, Rupert will be back to see you soon!!
They completely butchered my girl’s tail. She had long, beautiful feathers before this appointment. I didn’t realize until we were already home, but I promptly emailed asking for it to be fixed and got ignored. It has been over three weeks with no response. Take your pup elsewhere.
Update: got reached out by FLOOF and received a brush up for the grooming in question - now it’s much better and more like what I expect, so updating the review to match that. We love coming to FLOOF because they provide a seamless scheduling experience and convenient time slot. They also used to give those cute little photos after grooming. This time grooming was sloppy which we didn’t notice right away because our dog was wearing a harness and we were in a hurry :( As regulars we believe it is not how grooming is supposed to be done at FLOOF.
Kalia took care of our very large 100lb dog. He was in a bad state, very dirty and full of mats. They ended up having to split him up between two appointments. He came out like a whole new dog, soft and smells amazing!! No mats in sight, which is a lot of work to untangle and get through. They were gentle with him, which is especially appreciated because he is an older dog with arthritis. Kaila had a lot of hard work to do and my dog came out fantastic!! 100% would always recommend FLOOF, and very pleased as a first time customer.
I loved my puppie’s furcut! I asked for it to be short so my puppy (His name is Teddy) wouldn't be hot in the summer. His fur was nice and soft! My puppy was comfortable and didn't have anxiety about it.You also get a heartmelting polaroid photograph of your dog!! ^_^
We love Floof! Our Westie pup is excited to go each time. Cuts are always top-notch! Five stars!!
I can't praise Floof in Magnolia enough. Grooming our challenging pup, Lucci, requires time and care, which they certainly provide. The price is fair for the excellent service, and I trust them with our dog. Laggoto Romagnolo’s are not easy to cut. Our furry friend always leaves happy, wagging his tail without any signs of distress.
The owner is so kind and treats my girl as his own. Highly recommend!!! David is the best groomer I’ve ever met! He really took care of my dog. Check out photos! Perfectly groomed!
My mini goldendoodle is often scared of groomers after a few bad experiences but she loved Floof! Master groomer David (one of the co-owners) was so sweet with her - plenty of treats and pets - which made her come home happy for the first time ever. The groom was well done, he was really careful when asking me about what I wanted and took plenty of notes. The salon opened totally on time, right at 10AM. I did the Doodle (21-30 lbs) groom package and it was $120 (without tip). Will definitely be back! Wonderful experience.
Fabulous, less is more in this instance. They're wonderful people who really care about your little one, making sure what's best for your furry one. We have been regulars here since our first visit, they don't do a rush job, our pup is not too troubled after his haircare.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
