They appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, who listen to specific grooming requests and make efforts to minimize any stress for the dogs. Overall, The Paw Spa is frequently recommended for both dog grooming and pet products, with many customers stating they will return in the future.
Absolutely obsessed with The Paw Spa! Macy the owner is AMAZING with my mini doodle and always has her looking like the diva she is! They really take care of my babies even my big boy Kaos! They have the BEST selection of clothes and have the most amazing dog crocs…treats all the above! You won’t be disappointed! 🙃
It was Milo’s first time going to The Paw Spa the staff is very nice and friendly. He truly looks so different very handsome, very adorable, very demure. I’m glad I found this place it’s amazing work I have been doing my research to find the best place to take my puppy. We will be coming back it was an 11/10 !!!
Pictures speak for themselves. Loved the pawspa and how they left my Niklaus! 10/10 will come back again! Highly recommend to anyone on the fence about their dogs first groom. Showed them a video of what we wanted and she executed it with some modifications due to the type of coat he has. We also left with some treats and some products for his paws. Appointment process was easy, pricing is affordable, and the products they sell are reasonable as well.
I’ve taken my pup twice and will continue to. The groomer/owner is soooo talented, my pup comes back super soft and all trimmed up! The girl at the front desk is very nice and welcoming! And the groomer is obviously very passionate about what she does. You can tell from the amazing job! Something super important is that they listen to exactly what’s requested. Nothing scarier than dropping off your dog requesting a trim and coming back to a fully shaved dog. This won’t happen at Paw Spa, what you ask for is what you get and I fully trust my pup in their care. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting and you won’t be disappointed! They also have some really awesome dog clothing!
We took our puppy, Pearl in for her first groom today and she looks AMAZING! Her fur is so soft and it smells so good. I know puppies have a ton of energy and can be difficult to work with sometimes but they seriously did such a good job. We were a bit nervous as this was our first time leaving her alone in a new place, but she came home happy and with a cute bow and bandana :) We will definitely be back in the future!
No groomer has been able to find the right haircut for my Aussiedoodle with wavy/straight/and curly hair. They really nailed it. And when I went to pick him up. He was very comfortable and happy. Happy that he’s getting picked up, but, definitely stress free compared to our previous grooming experiences where I can tell he felt betrayed. Will be our forever groomer from now on.
Took my two pups there for the first time today and I was very impressed! It’s always a bit nerve wracking going to a new groomer with long hair dogs, but they did a great job on both of their cuts! Mac, the big black one, is our new rescue that had never been groomed before so I was a bit nervous on how he’d do. They were so patient with him and gave him breaks as needed to make the process as minimally stressful for him as possible. I SO appreciate that. Definitely will be bringing them back.
Recently relocated to Dallas. I cannot find a good groomer to save my life. Someone recommended this place; so I gave it a shot. I have not been this pissed in a long time. I gave the groomer specific instructions, like specific to the 10th power. I said round puppy dog face. I don’t know what she did. She also took the tail down too low. This person clearly doesn’t know how to groom (Sloppy work). The dog came home with bugga’s in his eyes. The owner should choose better groomers. Because she’s going to be constantly losing money with that one.
I have taken our 6 year old, 120lb English Lab to other groomers and he would still come home smelling like wet dog and his nails were still long even though they were supposed to be "trimmed". Macie did an amazing job with Reno (he smelled like a fresh puppy and his nails were nice and short) and he even got a cute little bandana! I expected it to be pricey because she uses all natural ingredients, most of which are USDA organic and for the amount of services we received (he sheds A LOT) but it was more than reasonably priced and definitely the best professional grooming he has received. We will be taking our Bengal kitty next for a spa day but we are definitely fans of The Paw Spa and will be regulars for life!
First time here and was wondering why I didn’t come here sooner! Our puppy looks and smells amazing. Thank you Paw Spa, we’ll be back soon! ❤️

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
