Reviews
Customers consistently rave about the exceptional quality of service at the grooming facility, with many highlighting the staff's genuine love and care for the animals. Reviewers appreciate the patience and attentiveness shown, especially towards anxious pets, noting that both dogs and cats come out looking and feeling great. The staff's ability to cater to individual needs—such as handling long-haired breeds with expertise—is frequently mentioned, along with the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that puts pets at ease. However, one negative review mentions a concerning incident during a grooming session, which contrasts with the overall high satisfaction expressed by other customers.
These guys are THE BEST! My bichon always comes home looking perfect. More importantly, it’s evident that the staff members truly love dogs. They are incredibly patient and sweet with my dog, who tends to be anxious and resistant when we go in for a groom.
I recently had the pleasure of bringing my cats, Pascal and Eureka, to your grooming place, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Your staff was incredibly friendly, and it was clear that they love what they do. From the moment we arrived, my cats were greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable. The staff took the time to get to know them and understand their personalities, which helped to put my mind at ease. I felt confident that my cats were in good hands, and that they would be well taken care of. During the grooming session, the staff was attentive and gentle with my cats, and they really seemed to enjoy the attention. They came out looking and smelling great, and I could tell that they had been well-cared for. Even more importantly, they seemed relaxed and happy, which is a testament to the high level of care that they received. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at your grooming place. Your staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the animals that they work with. I'm very comfortable bringing Pascal and Eureka here, and I know that they're in good hands. I would highly recommend your grooming place to anyone looking for a friendly and reliable place to have their cats groomed. Thank you for all that you do!
My dog usually does mobile grooming, but recently moved to the area & needed to find a new groomer. They were so nice & understanding! Honestly the best cut she’s ever had & at a great price. Highly recommend!!
I've been taking my cat, Poe, here since I adopted him 6 years ago. Poe has been here at least 7 or 8 times, and he always comes out looking fantastic and in love with his new haircut - more energetic, playful and relaxed. Not all groomers know how to properly handle long-haired cats, but Loretta and the rest of the staff here are incredible. Price is reasonable because you truly get what you pay for. I wouldn't take Poe anywhere but here. I'd rate 6 stars if I could.
Great location, excellent service and great prices. I took my newly adopted pup, Penny, to this groomer for all those reasons. Our groomer was so sweet and Penny took right to her. I was able to leave and come back and what i requested was what i received. I paid an extra 5 bucks to have her teeth cleaned but she needed it ha! Very happy with our services. Update: Penny is still loving her groomer and loving we are loving the service.
My pup was groomed here for the first time today. I actually messed up in booking the appointment but they graciously (!) were able to fit him in to be bathed and groomed. He is a large, long haired dog. They had him in and out in under 2 hours and did a great job! We will definitely be returning
This was my first time getting my puppy groomed. From booking the appointment, everyone was so kind and made the process smooth. They did an amazing job…. I was left with my mouth open. They were able to do everything that was needed to be done to my pup & my requests were taken into full consideration. Update: I have gone to this grooming location since the first time I reviewed this location 3 years ago. They are always busy but if you book your appointment on time there should be no worries. They have been able to work with me even with times I have been late which is just amazing. I was so sad when I couldn’t come here anymore due to a relocation in state but whenever I return again for work, I will not go anywhere else. The groomers are all amazing, they follow all of your requests and make sure you are happy before you walk out the door. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE AMAZING 3 years of my fur babies looking the best!
There is no place else I’d trust with grooming my dog. The staff is AMAZING with the animals. Very kind and attentive. They book quick so I’d suggest making appointments early especially in the summer.
Went to pick up my two frenchies today after a grooming appointment and was told my female frenchie scratched the skin near her eye while in the crate. The groomer’s response was “accidents happen” and only said “sorry” after I voiced how upset and concerned I was. Not sure how a dog can scratch close to their eye in a crate…do they have a crate with a sharp edge? And if so, how is this considered a safe place to put a dog before or after they are groomed? I will not be taking my dogs there again.
This place rocks - they know their business , and they treat the animals you bring in with the love, care and respect as if they were their own pets. I first went here because I was totally sick of the nearby national chain PET COmpany's 'groomers' - one month they'd have good groomers, a month later they'd be gone & unskilled people were cutting my dogs nails too close and returning him soaking wet. The people at Paw Prints know what they're doing, have great personalities, and I've never felt more secure leaving my Apollo anywhere. Never going anywhere else.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
