Overall, customer satisfaction at Jenny's grooming service is mixed but leans positive, with many praising the service quality, expertise, and care provided by Jenny and her staff. Most reviews highlight Jenny's exceptional handling of pets, particularly in making them comfortable and ensuring thorough grooming, as well as her commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Customers frequently mention her attentiveness, willingness to accommodate special requests, and her ability to manage anxious pets effectively. However, there are notable negative experiences regarding communication and professionalism, particularly in cases where customers felt their pets were not treated with the expected care or where staff interactions were deemed rude.
You guys are purrrrrfect place to go!! We were very happy about our experience, prices, just everything, so let’s get started with the review. Our indoor/outdoor kitty had a few matted places and was just looking bad, because she won’t let us brush her hair out. Jenny had no problem we were in and out for a really great deal, so we paid her double! My husband thought that it would just fall out but I knew it was just too big and so we called Jenny’s, it was our first time there, and she got us in immediately! It was as great a visit as it could be, because I think it’s harder on us than, it is Miss Meow Meow. Jenny made sure we were using flea medication, which we always do, (who wants fleas)but Jenny made sure, she wants a clean business! Like I said it was our first time but we highly recommend her, and if we need kitty taken care of again that’s where we’ll be going! It’s hard to find someone who does cats and she did it in no time! Great job Jenny! I think you and your staff are wonderful it’s like a well oiled machine, you even get to stand there and watch her! Thanks for being there for us!!!!!
Never even been here. But I'll tell you one call, turned me away for life. Whoever was one the other line was not only rude but acted like I was stupid. Don't give hateful people business.
We have been taking our poodle here for grooming for many years. Jenny is always super nice and listens to what we want done. We ask her to brush his teeth and she's always quick to give us a heads up if his gums are swollen or inflamed (little dog issues) so that we can address it with our vet before the issue gets out of control. I would highly recommend this groomer!
With the whole pandemic thing I’ve held out on getting my dogs to the groomer. I explained this to Jenny and she moved some things around to get them appointments in just days which was awesome. Needless to say we all looked pretty apocalyptic when we showed up for their appointment but a few hours later and my girls are smiling and looking golden. Fantastic service and you can tell that they really love animals. Will definitely be back and most definitely recommend. Jenny and her crew are rockstars and most appreciated.
Jenny provided an amazing service during in climate weather on short notice. Her expertise showed in her ability to keep our otherwise "active" yorkie calm during his first nail trimming trip. Sadly we had put it off and they were a bit longer than I would care to admit, not painful to him long...but too long. Highly recommend.
Jenny and staff are the best in the business. Our animals have been going to Jenny for al least 30 years. I will NEVER go anywhere else hands down. I never have to worry about any of my dogs when they are there. They are safe, loved, and impeccably groomed.
The whole place is filled with dogs and it's quiet in there! She keeps talking to the dogs while they wait their turn. She's been very gentle with my yorkipoo and the grooming has been excellent!
Jenny never once told me that my dog would be there all day. I dropped him off at 8am like she asked, figuring he would have a morning appointment and he was not ready to be picked up until 4pm. My dog is a new puppy and is really scared of noises, he had to have been so scared all day waiting to be groomed. It was hard dropping him off seeing how timid and nervous he was. I wish this would have been communicated better. When my father expressed his feelings towards her communication, she fought back with aggressive comments saying “talking to me like that is not going to do anything for you” while she still had my dog. I am very unimpressed with her professionalism and give this to you all as a warning for those thinking about going there.
The absolute worst grooming experience I have ever had. Our dog was shaking when we finally got him back and the hair cut was horrible; when we complained about the hair cut she claimed he tried to bite her which is a complete lie.
I have been a customer at Jenny's for awhile now but just yesterday took my rescue dog for a day at the 'spa" for his first time. Naturally I had my concerns but Jenny said he was so good. She has such a way with dogs.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
