Fuzzy Butts LLC
About Fuzzy Butts LLC
We Don't Do Humans! We offer ONLY full service grooming for cats and dogs, dog training, massage therapy for cats, dogs and horses and Reiki. We also teach Pet CPR & First Aid. Cat days are Thursdays and Dog days are Wednesday, Friday. We rotate Sundays. We are proactive about matting and not reactive. We only make appointments for those staying on a regular 8 week schedule or less! We are strictly by appointment only, so if you see hours online they are incorrect. Google wants to add stuff to my information. We have NO self serve stations, it had been deleted several times. They don't allow me to change the information for my business without their approval and they usually don't, hence, why it has hours we are open..
Reviews
Customer reviews for Fuzzy Butts indicate a high level of overall satisfaction, particularly regarding the quality of service and the staff's expertise. Many customers highlight the skills and patience of the groomer, Angela, who is praised for her ability to handle both dogs and cats effectively, ensuring they leave looking and smelling great. Positive experiences often include anecdotes of pets being happy after grooming and owners feeling confident in the care provided. However, there is a notable contrast in experiences, as one customer expressed dissatisfaction with unexpected pricing and mishandling of their dogs, suggesting that while many are thrilled with the service, there may be inconsistencies that need addressing.
Took both my dogs and was a bit disappointed. Haircut was good and short as requested, but groomer cut off both dogs eyelashes and whiskers! Further, I was quoted a price over the phone but when I picked up the dogs was charged approximately $60.00 more; reason given was matting. Cost was $210.00 for a small and a medium sized dog (they indicated Rosco was a "large" dog). I did receive response from business which is appreciated, however, I will take their advice and find a reputable groomer that is less expensive and get dogs groomed more often.
We love Fuzzy Butts! We have been taking our dog here for grooming since he was a 'tiny' puppy. He loves going to see his buddy Angela and she is very patient with him when he comes in excited to see her (even if it's not our grooming day!). He ALWAYS looks and smells AMAZING when we pick him up (see pics through the years). I would highly recommend Angela for any grooming needs.
This groomer is top notch! My pup had some serious tangles and knots from his recent surgery. He was traumatized from them shaving his leg and poking him with the needle. Although he put up a little fight, she was able to contain him and clean him up! Look at him smile! She not only made him so adorable but he is so happy and playful now! He prances around like he is showing off his new coat ❤️❤️❤️🐶. Thank you Fuzzybutts!!!! Your awesome!
Never had I ever heard of “Cat Groomers” before I ran into “Fuzzy Butts LLC” while I was walking, one day, in Westwood… Not only was I surprised to learn these services are offered for cats (as well as dogs) but the Proprietor of the Shop, is a MASTER Cat Groomer! I did a bit of research online, and when my Partner and I, were walking again, nearby, I scheduled my Cat, for his first ever appointment (with a Groomer.) I know how difficult it is to hold this guy still, and get home to be calm/cool. Lawrence and Angela did a tremendous job, trimming his nails, and getting him bathed (properly)! He came home, and was nudging up, against everything, and purring, quite happily! I have read all of the negative reviews for this place, and must say, I’m not sure any of them understand what is really involved with maintaining and running a business, such as this!
I can't believe I am just now writing a review!! My cats and I absolutely adore Angela and the Fuzzy Butts team!! I really cannot say enough about them! My cats always come home looking and smelling beautiful. As a helicopter cat mom, I also completely trust leaving my cats in their care knowing they will be well taken care of. I suggest anyone who is debating about having their cat groomed to absolutely go here, you won't regret it!
Serena came home all purrs and cuddles. I had no idea how uncomfortable she had gotten, but Fuzzy Butts saved the day! They helped me understand how to keep my beautiful girl happy and healthy. I appreciate you!!
Angela is the best! We took our poodle pup to Angela for her first groom and have been going back ever since. Our pup happily walks right in the shop and leaves looking her very best. Always a beautiful trim! A calm atmosphere in the shop as well, no unhappy dogs barking there heads off.
Angela is the best, she’s not only a great groomer and business owner but an amazing person to have met and learned from. I was a student of her’s through the national cat groomer’s institute. I’ve seen first hand how loving and kind she is with the animals. Her shop is clean and well kept. She has worked so hard to become the wonderful pet care specialist she is today and regularly continues her education to provide the best services and experience for her customers.
Fuzzy Butts is an awesome pet grooming salon!! Angela does the BEST work. I like how she has specific days for grooming just cats/dogs, with weekend availability for people working M-F. She is highly knowledgeable regarding questions I may have. (cats) Tabitha is always so soft and clean when I get home with her. I am so glad this rating popped up on my phone. I normally charge a tip for her, on my credit card, however I paid the tip with cash, as a special holiday bonus and hadn't til now saw a place to rate. Thank you Angela and Fuzzy Butts Team....Happy Holidays....
Angela was great. First time having my dog groomed and was nervous that she would not let the groomer cut her hair but Angela was kind and gentle with her and she behaved just fine. She looks great. I would highly recommend visiting Fuzzy Butts. Support local. On my second visit my dog was even more comfortable with Angela at Fuzzy Butts. This is a great groomer. Again, support local not corporate entities. My little girl looks so sweet and cute. See pictures. Thanks Fuzzy Butts!

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
