Heather is amazing! Our English Bulldogs love her and enjoy getting their nails done and groomed. Heather is a dog owner herself and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend using Heather for your grooming needs!
This was our first time using this service and the groomer. Heather came highly recommended by my next-door neighbor. She was able to book me on the spot and came over a couple days later to groom my Schnoodle Charlie. Heather was amazing, she took great care and grooming my dog and he looks most handsome. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who has a busy schedule such as mine and is not always able to get to the Groomer.
Great experience. Everything from the ease of scheduling the appointment to the happy tail wags when the groomer was done…all top notch. Heather, the groomer is clearly a dog person and my fur babies warmed right up to her. They walked right out the front door to the grooming van and didn’t even look back at me 😂 They look and smell great. I am pleased and highly recommend them
Tess was tops! East Coaster like me!Great Sense of humor. Good vibe! Will book another appointment for April Loves animals Tess shared she grew up in VA.

We are thankful to have found Zoomin Groomin! Heather is wonderful and cares for our dogs and gives them the best treatment. It’s a relief to have someone who we trust and is so skilled at what she does. 🐾
Fantastic service, from start to finish. Making an appointment was easy, Zoomin Groomin called back right away and booked my appointment. On the day of the appointment, Heather was friendly and professional, asked me about my preferences of the groom and got acquainted with Pebbles before taking her to the truck. Pebbles was done within the hour beautifully groomed and happy.
This was the best grooming experience I have had! I have 2 standard poodles and a doxipoo. I had been sick for awhile and they were matted. She took the time and care they needed to get back to looking pretty! So very convenient to have it right at your home. My dogs were so happy after they were running and playing at full speed with tails wagging! This is my forever groomer! I highly recommend you also choose Zoomin Groomin!
The Girls who bathed and trimmed my dog did amazing! I will use them again for sure! Zoomin Groomin is so convenient and fast!
I just had my Aussie groomed today with Zoomin Groomin. Heather was the groomer and she did a fantastic job. My dog looks and smells amazing. My Aussie can be a little stand offish, but she took to Heather right away. I will be using her again. I’m a very happy customer.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
