Liz is amazing! She will love your pet and take the best care of them! Our dog gets excited to visit her every time. I cannot speak more highly. Also amazing fun dye jobs!
Liz is such an amazing groomer and takes the best care of my fur baby! In addition to her top-notch skills as a groomer, Liz shows my dog such love and care at each appointment, and he always looks just perfect. We consistently get stopped in public after each groom and my dog just eats up all the compliments and attention, and that is thanks to Liz! Liz is the best groomer!
Wow! Liz was amazing with my dog, Apple. He is getting so many compliments on his new highlights. I really thought he would be more anxious, but she got him to be a calm and happy camper really quickly after arriving. Pricing was very fair especially with him getting color. Overall, I’m very impressed!!!
I have a rare breed of Bergamasco sheepdog. She forms mats that are hard to dry. It takes a lot of time and patience. Liz was able to find time for me and my girl. She RESEARCHED on the breed. She went above and beyond. My other dog liked Liz instantly. Liz has a big heart for dogs. The place itself is very nice. Easy parking if you need it. Cute place to take pictures with your dog, too. 100% recommend.
Liz is amazing! I have a big Great Pyrenees with lots and lots of hair and she always does a great job with him. She's super friendly and has fair pricing. I've been looking all over since the pandemic to find a new regular groomer and I'm happy to say I've found it. Cool spot tucked away with a private driveway.
Liz is the greatest! She grooms our longhaired chihuahua and he loves going to the "beauty shop." He is usually somewhat shy and hesitant around others but he adores Liz. She loves animals and the dogs can sense that about her. She is truly an artist and what she can do with colors is amazing! Far and away the best at grooming and so kind and caring. So glad we found her!!
Liz did an amazing job with my dog Dory. The colors are so vibrant, even after the inevitable bath time! She took her time to ensure the job was perfect, and I know how hard it is to dye this dog's fur so she has the patience of a saint. Plus, pricing is super great and online scheduling was quick and easy. I cannot recommend her enough.
Liz was exceptional! I’ve been looking for someone who cared about my little pup and that I didn’t have to go home and cut pieces that were uneven! She was sooooo sweet with Zoe, she took and her time and even helped me learn how to take care of her coat between cuts! The haircut was incredible as well! I would highly recommend her!
Liz does an excellent job with our Bernese Mountain Dog! It is evident she loves what she does and she takes such great care of Louie. As a giant shedding breed, it can be hard to find groomers who are willing to and have the right equipment to groom him. I’m so happy we found Sunshine!
Liz is wonderful with our little rescue pup Hana. Hana is an anxious little girl but Liz is great at making her feel at ease and make the grooming process as pleasant as possible for her. Liz is kind and amazing at what she does. I would highly recommend her services!

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
