My dog and I have been going to Heather for years, and we will NOT go anywhere else!! She has always provided the best grooming services for my pup as well as being very accommodating and understanding! We always get the cut we ask for at amazing prices, AND she comes to you! What else could you ask for?? Bonus: You get adorable pics of your animal ☺️☺️
Heather has groomed our Wheaten Terriers for over 20 years! She does an excellent job. Our current dog is not a big fan of the blow dryer but Heather is very patient with him which gives us peace of mind! No matter what length we ask her to cut it always looks great! I cannot recommend her enough.
I have been taking my dogs to Heather since before she had Lolli•Pup Pets. Also my cats, come to think of it. I have had Keeshonds, who have a lot of fur, plus an under coat, and an outer coat. Not the easiest dogs to groom. Heather has always done a beautiful job! She is very professional, and my dogs absolutely LOVE her! So do the cats, for that matter. She has a very good relationship with animals, and they with her. We have taken our pets to Heather for over 16 years now. And as long as we have pets, they’ll be going to see Heather!—Christy Wheasler-Davis
I had such a great experience with Heather grooming our two cats in the Lolli Pup mobile! She creates a welcoming and friendly environment, both cats had far less anxiety than they usually do getting groomed. She pays special attention to make sure each pet is well taken care of the whole time, which sets her apart in my opinion. One cat needed a lion cut and I don’t know if she’s ever looked cuter! Highly recommend Heather and the Lolli Pup grooming mobile!
We’ve had Heather groom our Morkie several times in our home, we used to always use services in the SLP area but since we discovered Heather we only use her!! She not only does a fantastic job and has a great demeanor with animals, but she is consistently on time and is entirely dependable which is important to us. We would strongly recommend her grooming services and it provides a lot of anxiety-reducing peace to our dog (a bit of a scared-y cat to be honest) to get groomed in the comfort and familiarity of his own home!
My rescue dog is very difficult to groom-she gets very anxious and then protective, lashing out at whomever grooms her. Heather was very patient and took great care and time to gain her trust and gave her the best cut we’ve ever been able to get for our little dog! It was definitely a big price increase from our previous groomers, but the care and convenience of it makes it worth it. Highly recommend.
My dog is 16.5 years old and last year things started going down hill fast for my sweet girl. I was looking for a reliable, honest and caring mobile dog groomer and came across lolli•pup! Heather is beyond amazing!! She not only grooms dogs but has an amazing heart and personality. She took the time to drive out of her way to help us and took her time groomer our dog who needs extra love, attention, and time. I never have to worry when my dog is with her. She gives her the love and attention she needs to feel comfortable while getting her hair done, even though she is old and scared. She always does an amazing job and we are always beyond satisfied! If you are looking for a mobile dog groomer, we highly recommend her! She is the best! ❤❤❤

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
