Doggie Style Atl Staff is incredible! They have been so good to my kitties and handle them with great care! You can tell the staff really love what they do and care about each animal that comes in! I have an older cat who is a compulsive groomer and gets his fur severely matted and will not let us brush him, but he loves the staff here and doesn't fight them when they are shaving him back down. If you haven't given them a chance, you absolutely should!
I’ve taken my dog here twice to get groomed & will continue. 1- there is not much parking when arriving at the establishment however, every time that I’ve gone, I’ve always been able to find a spot 2-my dog and I have always been greeted and welcomed warmly when entering into doggy style 3-for a small dog I feel like their prices are fair as I’ve gone to several other grooming locations in the city of Atlanta and I’ve paid way more for a far less quality job 4- all dogs must be dropped off in the morning at one particular time (by 9 am)and they must be picked up before 2 PM of that day of service 5- my dog has been returned to me, smelling very well and clean fresh scent. I love the little bandannas that they put on him that is according to the season. There are a few things I would like to see you done a little bit differently with his cut as far as precision, but also keeping in mind this could be that my dog was moving and they weren’t able to. Overall, pretty good service and I get what I’m expecting when I take my dog here.
Roxy has the most amazing team to take care of our pups!!! Luna loves it here!
Took my baby here for the first time and absolutely love it! His coat was super shiny and smelled so good definitely will be returning y’all did amazing.
Doggie styles is a blessing. I just inherited my second dog. She is 19 yo. I needed a groomer quickly. I searched a found doggie styles in my area. I called and received a warm and concerned personality on the phone. I felt confident that they would show care and concern for my new inherited rescue dog. They were friendly, kind, and patient. She explained what Tiffney would need. Service time worked with my work schedule. Here's to new beginnings. I highly recommend
I took my dog here for the first time today. We waited about a month for our appointment because they stay busy and now I see why! Amazing service and great prices. My dog left so happy and fresh as a daisy. Wonderful staff here! Was so happy to see my friend Cookie here as well!! Such an awesome person! Went ahead and Booked Spankey for his next appointment before I left. Very glad I found amazing groomers to continue to bring him to. Thank yall!!!
As a former dog groomer, I booked a feet face fanny, which at this salon would’ve been the equivalent of a micro groom and was quoted $45. However, because I had him dropped off by someone else, somehow he was changed to a full groom although I called after drop off to confirm the original booking and what was to be done. She lied and said he had already been cut for a full groom and did not attempt to be accommodating for the confusion and had to pay an additional $15. We will not be returning since the inconvenience was so funny to the owner. Whoopsies
My puppy Marlo has been going to doggy style Atlanta for about two years now and they give him the best haircut. I was going to this pricey celebrity dog groomer that was charging me $150-$200 for a haircut. She will overcharge just for a couple of minutes small mats. We love going here. His haircut is always awesome. The people are so nice and happy. I will always recommend this dog groomer. Just make sure you get in where you fit in because I’m going to make my appointment every time.
Great customer service and decent prices. Always give my pups the perfect haircut :)
Great job on my Westie! He’s old and they took great care of him. The shop is adorable and everyone was kind.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
