The front desk person really needs to be more organized and honest. We dropped off our dogs around 3pm.. we had to call around 5pm for an update. The girl says they told us to come back in an hour. It’s now 5:24pm and our dog is not ready.. mind you it’s pouring outside. She said she the name wrong. Regardless, she seems all over the place and now I’m stuck here with crazy rain and bad service. Shop around or make sure the front desk girl is on point and not doing her nails or texting. Very bad service on her end. We have been coming for a few years now and the service is not the same.
They do not show you the dog until after you pay. When I complained about my dog’s face, tail not being properly groomed and the rest of her body hair being butchered they said that they could not do anything about it because she bites them. As you will see on the pictures it’s a small dog so if it bites them don’t touch her and charge $50 to do such a horrible job. The customer service is terrible, save yourself the aggravation of having to finish a groomers job at home and take your dog to a real groomer.
I took my dog here like 2 months ago and they left him all chopped up and just not looking good at all. We are talking about a 12lbs dog here not a huge dog. Aside from all of that he got fleas. My dog is a indoor dog and has never gotten fleas till after we took him there. The only reason why i came back today to write this review is because the people i groomed him with today asked me, is he usually scared and flinches when you take your dog to groom. I said never everyone who has groomed him loves him and behaves good. So that leaves me to think that they mistreated him when i left him there. Dont recommened this place at all.
I had a fantastic experience with Valery from Miami Pet Grooming, who provided mobile grooming for my Pomeranian, Hachiko! Valery arrived right on time in her grooming van, and I was impressed by how professional and friendly she was. She took the time to discuss what I wanted for Hachiko's bear cut and made sure I was happy with every detail. Hachiko looked absolutely adorable after the grooming session, and Valery’s gentle approach made him feel calm and relaxed. Having the grooming done at home was incredibly convenient, and I loved seeing Hachiko get pampered right in our driveway! I highly recommend Valery as your groomer at Miami Pet Grooming for anyone looking for mobile grooming. We will definitely be using her services again!

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
