We had a great experience with Esme! She is prompt, efficient, and friendly. Leeloo and I are grateful for the services she provides. It is such a great option to prevent unnecessary stress on your kitty. We're also loving the lion cut for summertime! Thanks again!!
Esme did an amazing job giving my Kitty a lion cut! My cat does not like his paws and other certain areas touched, but Esme knew exactly how to handle my Kitty. She was very careful with him despite him meowing, hissing, and fidgeting on the grooming table. She was patient, thorough, quick, and very knowledgable about cats and how to handle my very unhappy feline! Thank you so much, Esme! UPDATE 1/15/2024: I am so glad I found Esme and can't recommend her more! She has groomed my Persian for the past few years and he very much dislikes grooming. She knows exactly how to handle him and makes him feel at ease. When I recently adopted another Persian, she did amazing with him as well. There is no one I trust more with my babies. Thank you, Esme!
Esme has been our groomer for our cat Oliver for a few years now and we have ZERO complaints ever! It’s so hard to find a cat groomer in general for a cat that is not declawed and not the best behaved, and Eame does it with ease every single time. She’s become a friend and we trust her 100% with our fur baby. We love her and would refer her to anyone needing someone to come to your home and groom your fur babies!
Love Her! This was their first hair cut and pro grooming, so it was very important the experience was as positive as it could be. We didn't know what to expect but we didn't expect everyone would love the full experience. Of course they didn't, but they did love Esme just fine, before during and after. And they LOVE their new cuts now that they are done. She handled these big spoiled babies skillfully and got everyone done quickly so no trauma here. We will be calling her for every future cut and now that they know how good she made them feel for summer, I think they will look forward to seeing her again.
Esme has been grooming both of my senior cats now for a couple of years if not more and she's been wonderful!! I have one in particular that's a difficult breed to handle and Esme does a fantastic job with her! Highly recommend using her services, she's great!!
Esme was amazing! It’s as simple as that. She was unbelievable with Parker (pictured) and Misses Pasta. Parker, our Norwegian Forest Cat, has never been groomed or trimmed before. As you can see, Esme (and Parker) did awesome. We rarely have folks come into our home, and I can confidently say we will be inviting Esme back time and time again. Thank you for taking great care of our furry babies!!!
Love Esme’s work & so happy she can come to the house. My baby’s been sick & hairballs are an issue. So now it’s not so much an issue & he looks beautiful! He doesn’t like getting in the car because that means a vet visit. So everyone is happy, including the vet now that we found Esme.
Esme was prompt and competent. She was able to give each of my Ragdolls a lovely grooming session. I am so happy because one of our girls tends to be aggressive, but Esme has the "magic touch". This cat was so much calmer with Esme than she is with either my husband or me when we attempt to groom her. I definitely recommend Esme's services.
Esme was wonderful! She groomed our 8 year old Persian perfectly with a lions cut. She was warm and friendly, our cat loved her and was comfortable during the experience. Would recommend for in home grooming!! Thank you Esme!
We love Esme! She is so polite and not only wonderful with our Maltipoo but my 6 kids. They crowded around her as she explained what she was doing. I'm sure having all the kids around slowed her down, but she just remained unphased by the chaos around her. Very professional and great communicator. We won't use anyone else!!

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
