Reviews
Overall, customers express high satisfaction with Kute Kuts, praising the exceptional grooming services provided by the staff, particularly Luchy and Fanny, who are noted for their patience and care. Many reviews highlight the staff's ability to cater to the unique needs of each pet, ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Long-time clients mention that their pets look forward to their visits, with several stating that this grooming spot is the best in Miami for specific breeds like Yorkies. However, there are a couple of negative experiences mentioned, with one customer reporting poor treatment of a pet, which contrasts sharply with the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the majority.
I absolutely love Kute Kuts! I’ve been taking my dog here for years and nobody does it like them! The only groomers I trust blindly with my fur baby. I have a yorkie and they know just how I like his haircut. 10/10 recommend they do not disappoint.
My favorite groomer! Luchy is amazing to both my boys, Oreo and Leroy. She leaves my sheepadoodle nice, fluffy & knot free weekly. Highly recommend!
No doubt the best and more careful Yorkie grooming in the south Miami region
We cannot stress enough how important it is to have a quality groomer for your pups and Kute Kuts is honestly the best in town. Each member of their team takes their time with your pup and are dedicated to ensuring your pup has a positive grooming experience. We went through 6 groomers before heading to kute kutz. Mind you this was during peak covid times- we tried mobile groomers and other in the area but none were as dedicated as Lucy and her staff. They understand that every dog is different and cater to providing the best experience for pup and owner. We recommend them to everyone we met. They’re the best in town! We recently learned that our childhood shih tzu would also get their hair cut there as well. Kute Kutz is a staple in South miami with being in business for several decades. We love how they treat our pups and thank them so much for taking the time and care that’s needed to cut our Amadeus. Thank you so much! 5 stars ⭐️
No other place in Miami for a real Yorkie haircut. They pampered the dog as another place in South Florida
We have taken our Maltese, Wolfie to Kute Kuts twice a month for over 9 years and they always do an excellent job with his grooming. He really loves it there, and he can't wait to get in the door when we drop him off. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Worst grooming experience of my life. My dog was unrecognizable when I picked him up. The place is terrible.
I just left this location and I HAD to write a review. Luchy and Fanny were amazing! I brought in my 8 month old kitty to come and trim his nails and they were glad to take him in. Luchy was trimming his nails, while Fanny petted and soothed him. It was such a relief to see two groomers who really enjoyed cats. My little boy didn’t even panic and seemed to really trust them. The trimming was also so quick that I was shocked; super fast and efficient! Will be coming back for next time!
The best pet groomers ever! Luchy, Fanny, and the crew do an excellent job. They are careful, patient, and very professional. All of their services are priced fairly and the results are always outstanding.
I’m not even a client I’m just eating in the restaurant next door and my table is right in front of their window. The way the lady is treating the poor doggie completely ruined my food and broke my heart. Do not bring your pets to this place!! HORRIBLE treatment. I wish they closed it.
I’ve taken my dogs here for more than a decade now. It’s the only groomer in Miami that I trust!
Excellent grooming. My 7 month old puppy didn't want to leave! Thank you Kute Kuts.
My yorkie always receives the best hair cuts here plus they trim inside his ears and nails. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
So patient and loving!! My old dog is tough because he hates the buzzing noise and they did a great job and showed a lot of love!!
Been coming here for years. Staff is fantastic and the owner is always accommodating to my lack of scheduling an apt ahead of time.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
