My wife and I have been bringing our golden doodle Indy here for the last year. We had recently decided to change groomers after overhearing our last groomer mistreat other pets. These groomers are kind and gentle with your dog and have kennels to ensure dogs are separated so that none of the dogs have an altercation. Our dog was nervous with blow drying one session and the groomer used a kennel dryer. Great service, amazing personalities, and outstanding politeness. Always tip. (Sometimes they do run behind, please be patient with them as because it is secondary to variables that are out of their control.)

I've been taking our dog Fluffy here ever since they've opened up the store. I have been extremely happy with the team, they always do a great job on cutting our dog's hair. They always greet us with a lot joy and they always make sure that i get exactly what i ask for. I always leave a happy customer. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do and the detail and time they put in their work is highly appreciated.

Took my shirt-haired cat for her first grooming and to get fleas removed. They did a very good job, she came back smelling and looking so good! Was really worried because she's not a huge fan of people and much less nail-trimming. But they gave her a nice pedicure and she came back clean, with nicely trimmed claws. I really appreciate how well my baby was taken care of. <3

Oh my goodness!! I almost cried from excitement when I saw DD after her groom!! she is a recent "foster" we saved from the pound. I witnessed a "freedom" transparency when I picked her up after her 1st time groom! She was so relaxed and happy! Also, I brought in a Chihuahua that needed his nails taken care of....such patience! Thank you for your gentleness and professionalism!

Had a wonderful time for my giant schnauzer! the staff was willing to work with her and did most of the things no other groomer have been able to do, they did her butt trim, her nail trim and her ears and they handled her very well. they are the most welcoming people I have ever met if I could give them more stars I would. I highly recommend this place for any pet big and small they will work with you but most importantly YOUR PET. I will definitely be going back.

So I typically do not write reviews especially ones like this. So I called ahead of time as a new client and asked if they had openings. I was told that I can bring my dog in now. So I drove down and spoke to the young lady up front who was very helpful. She said my Doberman was a large dog and quoted me $55 she did not weigh my dog. I advised her that my dog was maybe 75lbs she still said my dog was a large and would be 55$. They have add ons and I thought that 55$ was a great deal, so I added some add ons. I added flew and tick as a precaution, I know my dog doesn’t have either but just did it as preventative. I also added a toothbrush and oatmeal bath. I was told my dog wouldn’t be ready for a couple hours. I received a call sooner than I thought and they said she was ready. I went to pick up and a different person helped me I didn’t get names my mistake. She then proceeded to go so fast over everything not even giving me time to process. She said my dog was XL and told me it was 65$, I advised her that, was not what I was quoted when I dropped off my dog. She said XL is 65$, I advised her that I was quoted $55, that’s why I did add ons. She then asked the lady who originally helped me if she weighed the dog, which she stated no. She still said the dog is 75lbs which is XL I advised her that I told the lady she maybe around 75lbs, my dobbie is on the small side she is not big. So how does she know that my dog is 75lbs exactly when no one weighed her?? She still charged me $65 and didn’t care what I said. She than asked if my dog had flees, I said no, I did it as a preventative. She then stated that she was going to ask the groomer, if my dog had flees and if she didn’t have flees they won’t charge me. Why did she ask me if my dog have flees if she wasn’t going to believe me anyways?? She went to ask the groomer and came back and said my dog had flees. We have 3 dogs and none of them have flees and I chose to do as preventative since I was originally quoted 55$ on drop off. She completely ignored what I was saying and kept rushing through everything. I didn’t even have time to think or process the situation. I was being rushed out with my dog. They were not that busy but they did have one person trying to drop off a dog so I’m not sure why she was so rushy. Over all I guess that’s how they trick you into doing add ons and over charge you. XL or giant dogs are anything over 100lbs which my dog is not. They also don’t have weight ranges listed so they basically get to choose which size your dog is off of visual. They have a list but just with size and price (large-55$) no weight ranges to back it up. I recommend you pay on drop off to make sure they don’t up charge you when you pick up. The first girl that helped me on drop off was amazing she answered all my questions and was very nice. The girl that helped me on pick up was very rushy, rude and dismissive. Not to sure I’d go back due to her bad customer service. This was a horrible experience for a new client. If I do go back I wouldn’t be helped by her again.

Booked an appointment on a Wednesday and had a spot open for two days later for that Friday, that was extremely helpful since our lil boy had missed two previous appointments with our mobile groomer. His matting was getting bad, he seriously needed a spa day. So being that we’ve only have been using one groomer, we were nervous and reluctant but decided to go with Shaggy2swaggy based of ratings and reviews. The place isnt very big but they a good operation going on, the guy at the front was nice and the lady that asked me what we wanted and expected, they multiple groomer’s working on pups and they have a kennel area for pups when they are done and waiting for their owners. They told me about 3-4 hours he should be done but it only ended up taking two so that was great. She said he did a good job and we were happy with the experience they did a good job

Customer service is always 10/10. They always accommodate my girl Pony. She's shy and often scared of new environments and they always do everything to make her feel comfortable. They are the sweetest when dealing with Pony. I would definitely recommend coming here for pet grooming. (Pony after her appointment)

Frequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming

What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?

A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.

How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?

To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.

Why is professional cat grooming important?

Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.

How often should my cat be professionally groomed?

The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.

What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?

Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
