Candies Pet Grooming is best !! I have come to here many times and always love the results. She loves on my dog so much and makes her feel safe, which makes it easier to leave her there. Excited for my next appt
Finally found a groomer who checks all the boxes in what we look for in a groomer: loving, thorough, reasonable prices, and takes her time to ensure it’s a pleasant experience for both pup and parent. I checked in to see how Koda was doing for his first haircut and she was responsive to give updates. He looked and smelled fabulous…and his coat was something to envy! We’ve tried several places near us but they’re either too expensive, take too long and/or didn’t do a thorough job. Candies Dog Grooming is about 20 minutes from us but she is so worth the distance.
Highly recommend Candies grooming to all pet owners! You need to bring your pups to her and I guarantee that you will be happy with your pup's groom. I trust her with all my pups and my foster pups!! She knows exactly what needs to be done!
My dog looks so amazing! She took very great care of him and updated me often. Im so happy with it, when I dropped him off she asked a lot of questions about how I wanted his hair cut which was amazing! I really love how it came out!
First time!! Highly recommend. My dog is not easy and she did an excellent job. The price is good and her work much better.
So I was recommended by a close friend to give my fur baby a try with Candice and all I can say is God is Good!! She did an amazing job with my Cisco, I was soooo happy an I can say she’s a true Blessing to me and my fur baby!!! I highly recommend her work to a pet parent. Thanks again ❤️
Glad I found Candies, she's very careful and caring with my Yorkie. You can tell she's very passionate in what she does, I Would highly recommend.
Candies pet services is amazing! I always take my yorkie there and she does an amazing job! You can really tell that she is great with dogs and after seeing other groomers for the other dogs we have, we will not take them anywhere else! Thanks so much for your wonderful service & keep up the great work!
Great Prices and Great Service! We took our 3year old Yorkie who was looking kind of shaggy. Candie did a great job! He looks so cute now! We've been to other groomers, which were more expensive and did like a generic trim on him. Candie actually knows how to accentuate his Yorkie features, which made him more adorable :) Loved it!! We will be bringing Swisher back

Loved it .Will be back soon. . All my friends asked me where he went. They loved his looked. Thank you so much. It looks just what I wanted.

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
