Reviews
Overall, customer satisfaction is quite high among reviewers, with many praising the friendly staff, quality grooming, and clean environment. Multiple customers highlighted effective communication during appointments and the staff's attentiveness to each pet's needs, especially for seniors and those with specific grooming requests. However, there are a few complaints, particularly regarding the online scheduling system for cats and a significant negative experience with a toy poodle's grooming that raised concerns about the care taken during the process. Despite these issues, the majority of reviews express a strong loyalty to the groomers, often traveling long distances for their services and recommending the business to others.
My dog loves coming to you for his sprucing! And I'm so glad because he is way too much dog for me to bathe! Friendly staff, great groomers, clean shop, east appt setting system. Zero complaints! Been coming here for 7 years now and moved away but still make the drive past at least a dozen other groomers to come here! Keep up my fur pampering pro's!
They always do a great job with grooming our cat. The only reason I'm not putting them at five stars is because their website scheduler never shows any openings for cats. If I call in, they always seem to have something within a week or two, but it would be a lot easier if we could schedule online. Otherwise, I can't say enough good things, they do a great job
I have a toy poodle that has very curly hair. I like to keep him long and fluffy so I usually go 4 weeks between each appointment. I moved so I tried this place and I honestly don’t feel that they took their time with his fur. I dropped him off and the lady at the counter mentioned his ears were matted. Which I knew that. So I showed her the length I’d like him to have and she agreed that would be a good length for my dog. So I was like great, I’m okay to leave my dog to get groomed. I get a call 15 minutes later stating that they would need to cut majority of his fur off due to matting. He was not matted. Poodles have curly fur. Whether your brush it or not, there’s going to be some kinks in the fur… but anyways I was upset with the phone call because if they had mentioned that while I was there, I would have gladly left with my dog and took him across town to my usual place. I told them to keep as much hair on him as possible. I return and majority of his fur was gone, he had a cut on him and was bleeding, and guess what? The part that we all knew was matted (his ears) is where they left all the fur. This led me to believe that they were not willing to take the time to work with his fur. I still paid full price and my dog was cut. My dog is 11. I’ve lived in multiple states, multiple parts of AZ, and my dog has never been cut by a groomer. I had to get medication for the cut on his skin. I believe in paying people for their time, I even tipped and I did not complain. I will not be back though, and if your dog has curly fur, I wouldn’t recommend them. Find someone willing to groom with care + take their time.
I'm so glad I took my dog here to get groomed. I loved the way it turned out and they were super gentle with my fur baby. It was his first time getting groomed and he was sooo happy after I picked him up. The price was reasonable for all the work they did and the results were fantastic. I will be taking my papillon here in the future.
We love this location! Always a wonderful experience and cut for our pups.
By far the nicest staff and best haircut for my matted furry babies. Kimberley did an amazing job from getting us signed in (last minute) on a busy Saturday to check out. Cooper the gray dog (on the right) needed nails, glands and teeth brushing and Chloe (on the left) was matted. They were able to salvage her cute pup face and make the best haircut possible considering how matted she was, mind you she is an 8 month puppy who I have not been able to groom myself in fear that I could possibly harm her. Chloe did amazing with the staff at Fluff and Puff and she and Cooper will continue to come here in the next coming months. I have also made my next appointment for Cooper’s teeth cleaning without the use of anesthesia which I think is pretty amazing! I definitely recommend this place!
Quick review: I visited for my cat's grooming. I am very satisfied with the outcome and their services. My cat was not stressed at all from the visit. Details: I have a medium hair, super fluffy cat. I had her get the full grooming without bathing. I knew the specifics of what I wanted: keep her maine but at trimmed length, her boots, but no tail bob. Staffs/Groomers were very welcoming and listening. The work was done in about 1.5 hours. She didn't get any cuts or uneven shaving marks. I paid $70; on the website, full grooming is estimated to range $65-80. They said the price varies upon the cat's condition (both hair and temper) which is reasonable. Most cat grooming places have such flexible pricing policy since cats are more sensitive and defensive to unexpected people/situations. My cat is used to being groomed (received monthly for years before we moved to AZ), so I was less concerned about how she would do. Staffs said she did very well and my cat seemed chill after the grooming, so I believe that the groomers handle cats gently. I would definitely go back!
I took my dog in on Friday 12/10/21 for a groom. Her hair was done very un even. Her snout area didn’t get done . Not happy with the results at all. I only paid because that’s my character but it definitely wasn’t worth the 85 bucks .
We love our puff appointments! My girl is always so excited to see the team and comes home smelling and looking fabulous!
Pros: Grooming starts at your appointment time-Pet is not put into cage till groomer is ready. Grooming is done just the way you requested. Extreme care is taken with all pets especial our four legged senior citizens. Staff is friendly and efficient. Cons: NONE

Call to BookFrequently Asked Questions About Cat Grooming
What should I expect during a professional cat grooming session?
A typical professional cat grooming session usually begins with a consultation to discuss your cat's needs. The groomer will then examine your cat's coat and skin condition before proceeding with services like brushing to remove loose fur, bathing with cat-specific shampoo, blow-drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and any specialized haircuts if needed. Most sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on your cat's coat condition and temperament.
How should I prepare my cat for a grooming appointment?
To prepare your cat for grooming, brush them at home a few days before to remove loose fur and minor tangles. Keep your cat in a secure carrier for transportation. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and allow your cat time to adjust to the new environment. Bring information about your cat's health, temperament, and any areas they're sensitive about. For anxious cats, consider withholding food for 2-3 hours before the appointment to reduce the risk of stress-related nausea.
Why is professional cat grooming important?
Professional cat grooming is important for several reasons: it reduces shedding and hairballs, prevents painful matting, allows early detection of skin issues or parasites, keeps your cat's coat healthy and shiny, reduces dander (helpful for allergy sufferers), and maintains proper hygiene. Professional groomers have specialized tools, products, and techniques to safely handle cats, even those with behavioral challenges. Regular grooming also helps cats become more comfortable with handling, which is beneficial for veterinary visits.
How often should my cat be professionally groomed?
The frequency of professional grooming depends on your cat's coat type, length, and lifestyle. Long-haired breeds like Persians typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting. Medium-haired cats may need grooming every 6-8 weeks, while short-haired cats might only need professional attention every 8-12 weeks or during seasonal shedding periods. Cats with special conditions like obesity or arthritis that prevent self-grooming may need more frequent appointments. Your groomer can recommend an appropriate schedule based on your cat's specific needs.
What's the difference between cat and dog grooming?
Cat grooming differs significantly from dog grooming. Cats have more sensitive skin, requiring gentler handling and cat-specific products. Their grooming sessions are typically shorter to minimize stress. Cats often need specialized restraint techniques and quieter environments. Cat groomers use different tools designed for feline coats and are trained to recognize signs of stress unique to cats. Cat-only grooming facilities eliminate the anxiety many cats experience around dogs, creating a more comfortable experience for your feline friend.
